The WRTU chapter was official declared a chapter of Trout Unlimited on June 4, 1983. Wild Rivers Trout Unlimited chapter is responsible for seven counties in northwest Wisconsin, including: Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, Iron, Burnette, Washburn, and Sawyer Counties.
With over 300-chapter members, the WRTU chapter has a rich history and is an active leader in the conservation for northwest Wisconsin conserving and restoring our multi-use coldwater resources and watersheds for future generations.
